Two coaxial permanent ring-shaped magnets repel each other.

Geometry:

Two coaxial permanent ring-shaped magnets model

D1 = 2" (50.8 mm) inner diameter of the ring magnet;
D2 = 0.5" (12.7 mm) outer diameter of the ring magnet;
l = 0.75" (19.05 mm) - thickness of the magnet;
δ=0.5" (12.7 mm) - gap between the magnets.

Given:
magnet grade N35, Hc = 954930 A/m, Br = 1.26 T;

Task:
Calculate the repelling force between two coaxial ring-shaped permanent magnets.

Solution:
For accurate calculation, the integration contour is drawn in the air around one of the magnet.
