Given:
The model of DC electric motor with a permanent magnets you can analysed for:
seven values of the steel cover thickness s: 1 - 8 mm,
three values of the current density j.
Solution:
The calculations performed to investigate the mechanical torque (per 1 m depth) in the function of the cover thickness and the current density (also other characteristics of materials). You can observe the saturation effect of the mechanical torque with the steel cover growth and a deformation of the field lines with the current density growth. These informations can be useful in a design process.
