Geometric Transformations

Geometric transformations available with Move and Duplicate operations are:

Displacement. Selected objects are shifted along the specified displacement vector. Parameters: components of the displacement vector.

Rotation. Selected objects are rotated around the specified point for the specified angle.

Parameters: coordinates of the center and the angle of rotation, with positive angles used for counter-clockwise direction. Angle values are in degrees.

Symmetry. Selected objects are mirrored relative to the specified symmetry line.

Parameters: coordinates of any point on the symmetry line and the angle between the horizontal axis and the line, with positive angles used for counter-clockwise direction from the axis to the line. Angle values are in degrees.

This transformation cannot be used with Move.

Scaling. Selected objects are dilated (constricted) by means of homothetic transformation.

Parameters: coordinates of the center of homothety, and the scaling factor.

This transformation cannot be used with Duplication.
