To add steps please do the following:
Use the combo box Step type to select the type of the current step. Two kind of transformation is possible:
Move
Choose the labels for the blocks, vertices and edges you plan to transform.
Tip. Like in Add Values dialog, when you choose some label, corresponding objects are highlighted in QuickField model window. So you can easily check whether you have selected the correct label.
Choose the radio button for the operation you plan to perform: Displacement, Rotation or Scaling.
Specify the parameters for the operation. Meaning of these parameters is the same as in QuickField Model Editor
Press Add Step. Step will be added to the list of steps.
Tips
- You can double-click on the item in
the label tree to add one more step for this label.
- QuickField performs recorded steps immediately, so
you can see the new position of objects in the Model Editor window.
Repeat Last Step button allows repeating the same step several times.
Repeat While Possible button specify that step should be repeated while the model topology is not affected (object boundaries do not intersect or "break").
Note: It is possible to specify more complex sequence of operations with several steps, substeps etc. See Steps and How to Add Substeps sections.
Changing Properties
If the type of the step is set to Change Properties, you can change any numerical property value for this label.
Select Change Properties in the step type combo-box
Choose the label.
Choose the change method from the combo box: Set To, Increase By or Increase By Percents.
Specify the parameters for the change.
Press Add Step.
You may want to press Repeat Last Step button several times, the same as for move step types described above.
Press Close button to close the dialog.
