QuickField simulation example

This model presents two copper bus-bars. One bus-bar is straight, other is bended by 90 degrees and both are positioned in the parallel planes.

Geometry 3D extrusion / 3D import.

Relative permittivity of air ε = 1,
Bar #1 voltage +10 kV, Bar #2 voltage -10 kV.

Task
Find the electric field distribution.

Solution
The geometry model could be constructed two ways: by 3D extrusion or using 3D import.

Results
Electric field stress distribution between the bars.
