3D problem of DC conduction.

Geometry:

Electric shunt model

Given:
Electric conductivity of metal γ = 56e6 S/m;
Electric current I = 100 A.

Problem:
Calculate the voltage drop in the electric shunt.

Solution:
One of the terminals is grounded. The task is to find the electric potential of the second terminal with known electric current.

Results:
Potential difference between the terminals is 2.1 mV.
Current density distribution in the electric shunt is shown below.
