Leakage inductance*
Leakage inductance is the part of inductance associated with magnetic flux that does not link all turns of a winding. It depends on winding geometry, spacing between conductors, and magnetic path configuration.
Leakage inductance is important for analysis of transformers, inductors, converters, power supplies, switching circuits.
In QuickField, leakage inductance can be analysed using AC Magnetics, DC Magnetics or Transient Magnetics.
