Magnetic Potential

To specify Dirichlet boundary condition (known potential), check this box and enter the value of potential.

Linear Current

To specify concentrated current, check the box and enter current value.

In transient magnetic problem magnetic potential or linear current can be time dependent. To specify time dependent boundary condition enter the required formula in place of numerical value. Formulas are discussed in details in Working with Formulas section.

Note:
The values of known potential and external current can depend on coordinates. In such case, QuickField calculates individual boundary condition values for all vertices linked to the label. To specify coordinate dependent boundary condition, enter the required formula in place of numerical value.
