Heat transfer simulation*
The heat transfer, or transfer of thermal energy can be performed by 3 ways: conduction, convection, and thermal radiation.
Heat transfer simulation in QuickField relates to the thermal conduction only. Convection and radiation processed may be taken into account as boundary conditions, describing the relation of the Finite Element Model parts with external objects and media.
With QuickField you can simulate both static and transient processes. Heat transfer simulation in QuickField may be included in multi-physics coupled analysis as a result of electromagnetic heat generation processes.
Specific details about heat transfer simulations in QuickField you may learn from the Theoretic Description chapter of QuickField manual, or from the brief description of Heat Transfer package (you can also find heat transfer simulation example at that page).
