To assign the problem with appropriate features:

  1. In the Problem Type area, click Stress Analysis.
  2. Click Axisymmetric.
  3. We'll agree with suggested data file name (SolStress.dsa), but change the model file name to Sol.mod. In Geomerty, change SolStress.mod to Sol.mod.
  4. Click Next.

To select convenient length measurement units (centimeters):

  1. Click Centimeters.
  2. Click Finish to accept the new problem.

QuickField now opens the new problem window for SolStress.pbm.

To specify the problem coupling:

  1. On the Edit menu, click Properties, a dialog box appears.
  2. Click the Links tab.
  3. In Data Type area, select Magnetic forces option.
  4. Click Browse, and double-click a SolMag.pbm file. If you would not see it in the list, then you forgot to save it to disk. In this case, click OK to close the dialog, activate the SolMag problem and click Save on the File menu. Then return to the previous point again.
  5. Click Add, a new line will appear in Data Sources.
  6. Click OK to accept changed problem properties.
  7. On the File menu, click Save to store the problem description in the file.
