QuickField Thesis License

The QuickField Thesis License provides temporary access to QuickField Professional for students working on individual academic diploma projects.
This license is intended for undergraduate diploma projects, MSc thesis projects, and equivalent final engineering study projects.
It is not intended for PhD research projects.

• License duration and fee

  The Thesis License is issued for the duration of the thesis project, typically up to 12 months.
  The Thesis License fee is US $45 per thesis project. This is a reduced academic fee and is not a commercial license price.

• Eligibility

  Applicants must provide academic project information, including university name, study program, supervisor name, expected graduation date, and preferably a university email address.
  Eligibility is subject to verification by Tera Analysis Ltd. Tera Analysis reserves the right to refuse or revoke discounted academic licenses in cases of misuse.
  PhD students are expected to use Academic licenses available through their institution. If institutional licensing is not available, they may contact us separately.

• Permitted use

  The Thesis License may be used only for non-commercial academic work directly related to the applicant's thesis or diploma project. Commercial use, consulting work, industrial design work, and paid external projects are not permitted under this license.

• Acknowledgement requirement

  Use of QuickField under the Thesis License requires acknowledgement of QuickField Professional in the thesis document and in any resulting academic publications, conference papers, technical reports, presentations, or other academic materials based on this work.

  Acknowledgement of QuickField Professional is a condition of Thesis License usage.

• Technical requirements and activation

  The Thesis License provides temporary access credentials to QuickField Professional via the Tera Analysis license server.
  Activation and continued use require:

  • Internet connection;
  • permission for outbound network connections;
  • access to the QuickField license server;
  • absence of local or institutional security restrictions blocking license access.

  In some institutional or corporate environments, firewall rules, proxy servers, VPN settings, antivirus software, operating system policies, or other security restrictions may prevent access to external license servers. Such restrictions are outside the control of Tera Analysis.
  Reasonable assistance with license activation and connectivity issues is provided. However, uninterrupted access to the license server cannot be guaranteed in all network environments. Technical issues arising after successful activation are handled on a case-by-case basis.

• Refund policy

  If activation of the Thesis License cannot be completed due to technical restrictions preventing access to the QuickField license server, and the issue cannot be resolved with reasonable assistance, the Thesis License fee will be refunded upon request.
  Refund requests related to activation must be submitted within 7 days after license credentials are issued. After successful activation of the license, the Thesis License fee is non-refundable.
  Changes in local network configuration, firewall policies, VPN settings, antivirus software, operating system configuration, or institutional security rules after successful activation are outside the scope of refund eligibility.
