Collaborative work of QuickField with other programs
QuickField provides rich opportunities for data import from other programs and field result export.
Interface with CAD programs
QuickField supports using of files in DXF format for two-way geometric data exchange with other CAD programs. QuickField Model Editor provides the command Import DXF for geometric objects importing into the QuickField model, and the command Export... allowing to save the model in DXF.
Separate add-in is provided for importing sketches from SolidWorks directly to QuickField. This requires SolidWorks program to be installed on the same computer.
Results output to the calculation programs
QuickField model editor provides finite element mesh export into the text file, allowing using QuickField as an effective and convenient preprocessor for other finite-element solvers.
Field analysis results may be exported by the following methods:
Space distribution of the field parameters along arbitrary contour may be displayed in the table, and then saved into the text file;
Field in the whole calculation area may be exported into the text or binary file in the nodes of the rectangular grid with user-controlled step.
Every finite element and field values in its vertices may be exported into the text file.
Local and integral field parameters displayed in the field calculation window, may be copied into the clipboard.
Field and mesh import into MatLab®
Files generated by the finite element mesh export into the text file, and the field results in the nodes may be then used in the program MatLab.
