QuickField for High Voltage applications
QuickField is a powerful tool for pulse power and high voltage equipment simulation and design, and many of our customers actively work in these areas. High voltage capacitors, power cables, pulse transformers, solenoids, voltage arresters, power switches, grounding electrodes - all these devices need to be carefully designed to avoid overvoltage, minimize leakage currents, and meet contradicting goals of efficiency and reliability within engineering constraints of size, mass and cost.
QuickField gallery of examples shows electromagnetic fields within and around these devices and approaches for calculating the corresponding device parameters. Few of them are shown below.
