Power cable simulation with QuickField

This webinar continues discussion of various aspects of power cable design started in the previous webinar.
Today we speak about advanced topics, including simulation of the sheath currents in the cross bonded cable, dielectric losses in the cable insulation, methods for reducing the electric stress in the cable termination, and static or transient thermal analysis of underground cables. These tasks require extensive use of different analysis formulations, including AC Conduction, AC Magnetics, Heat transfer for specific simulation tasks and Multiphysics coupling for combined use of these modules.
