AC magnetic simulation with QuickField
Webinar recorded on June 16, 2022
QuickField is a powerful tool for AC Magnetic analysis from low to medium frequencies. Eddy currents caused by an alternating magnetic field lead to skin effect and proximity effect, which may be studied using QuickField. AC magnetic field model may be co-simulated with a connected electric circuit. Built-in Circuit Editor allows defining complicated circuit diagrams with include QuickField model blocks, and also connecting wires, resistors, capacitors, inductors and voltage or current sources. During this webinar we will explain how to use QuickField to prepare and solve AC Magnetic problems related to transmission lines, shields, electric motors. We will demonstrate how to display electric and magnetic fields, losses, current distributions and other local and integral results.
